1. The promoter
The promoter is True Line Electrical Pty Ltd (ABN 29 696 139 929, ACN 696 139 929), an Australian private company of Victoria, which operates Tradie2U. In these rules "we" and "us" mean the promoter.
2. When it runs
The promotion opens at 12:00 am on Monday 5 October 2026 and closes at 11:59 pm on Monday 30 November 2026 (the entry period). Every time in these rules is Melbourne time (AEDT).
3. Who can enter
You can enter if, during the entry period and at the draw, you:
- live in Victoria;
- are 18 or over;
- hold a Tradie2U tradie account, in your own name or your business's, in one of the trades Tradie2U lists, and carry on that trade as a business; and
- have accepted the Tradie2U Terms of service.
You can't enter if you are an employee, officer or contractor of the promoter, or an immediate family member of one. Immediate family means a spouse or partner, parent, child or sibling, or anyone who lives in the same household.
4. How to enter
Entry is free. You enter by having a complete tradie profile on Tradie2U at the close of the entry period. A profile is complete when it has all of:
- your logo;
- your rates: a call-out fee, an hourly rate, or both;
- a bio;
- at least one photo of your work among your profile's photos; and
- if your trade on Tradie2U is electrician or plumber, your licence number.
You can set up and complete your profile in the Tradie2U app for iPhone or Android, or on the Tradie2U website. There is nothing else to fill in or send. If your profile was already complete before the promotion opened, you are entered as long as it is still complete at the close.
5. Your entry
Each eligible tradie has one entry, however many accounts they hold, and each business has one entry, however many people or accounts it has. Extra accounts don't add entries.
At 11:59 pm on Monday 30 November 2026 we record every tradie profile that is complete and belongs to an eligible tradie. That record is the list of entries. Changes made to a profile after the close don't count, either way.
6. The prizes
There are three prizes. Each is a fuel gift card worth $500 (including GST) from a major Australian fuel retailer chosen by the promoter. The total prize pool is $1,500.
- Prizes can't be exchanged for cash or transferred to anyone else.
- A card is subject to its issuer's terms, including any expiry date.
- If a card can't be supplied for reasons outside our control, we will give a fuel card or voucher of equal or greater value instead.
- A winner pays nothing to accept a prize.
- The fuel retailer whose card is given away is not a sponsor of this promotion.
7. The draw
The draw takes place at 10:00 am on Wednesday 2 December 2026 at Melbourne VIC 3000. Three winning entries are chosen from the list of entries by random computer selection, so every entry has an equal chance. Nobody can win more than one prize. You don't need to be at the draw to win.
8. Winners
- Told in writing. We email and text each winner, using the contact details on their Tradie2U account, on Wednesday 2 December 2026.
- Claiming. To claim, a winner replies by 5:00 pm on Wednesday 16 December 2026 and shows us that they are 18 or over and live in Victoria, for example with a driver licence. We look at the proof; we don't keep a copy.
- Delivery. Prizes are sent within 28 days of the draw, by Wednesday 30 December 2026.
- Named. Winners are named on tradie2u.com.au/fuel by first name, last initial, trade and suburb from Thursday 3 December 2026 until at least Thursday 31 December 2026. By entering you agree to that if you win.
9. Unclaimed prizes
If a winner can't be contacted, doesn't claim by the deadline, or turns out not to be eligible, their prize is forfeited and redrawn at 10:00 am on Thursday 17 December 2026 at the same place, from the remaining entries and in the same way. A redraw winner is told in writing that day, must claim by 5:00 pm on Thursday 31 December 2026, receives the prize within 28 days of the redraw (by Thursday 14 January 2027), and is named on the same page from Friday 18 December 2026 until at least Friday 15 January 2027. A prize still unclaimed after the redraw is forfeited.
10. Checking entries
We may check that an entrant is eligible and that a profile is genuine, including looking up a licence number on the public register (Energy Safe Victoria, or the Building and Plumbing Commission). An entry is invalid, and any prize forfeited, if:
- the profile has false or misleading details, including a licence number that isn't the entrant's or isn't current;
- it was made to game the draw, for example with fake or duplicate accounts; or
- the entrant interferes with the promotion.
Our decision on whether an entry is valid is final, unless the law says otherwise.
11. Your information
We use the details already on your Tradie2U account to run this promotion: to check entries, contact winners and send prizes, as our Privacy policy describes. Entering doesn't share your details with anyone else. If you win, we publish your first name, last initial, trade and suburb as section 8 says. Victorian law requires us to keep records of the promotion for three years.
12. Apple and Google
This promotion is run by the promoter alone. Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not sponsors of it, are not involved in it in any way, and are not responsible for it.
13. If something goes wrong
If fraud, a technical failure or anything else outside our reasonable control stops the promotion running as these rules describe, we may change, suspend or end it, subject to any direction from a regulator.
Nothing in these rules limits any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't be excluded. Apart from those rights, we are not liable for loss arising from the promotion or a prize, except loss caused by our own negligence or by our breaking these rules.
14. Law and contact
These rules are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia. Questions go to support@tradie2u.com.au.
