01 — Trade to trade
The other trades are on here too.
You need a plumber on site Thursday. The chippie needs a sparky. Everyone is ringing round the same four numbers hoping somebody picks up.
Log in as a tradie and you get the whole customer side pointed at other trades: see who is free, what they charge for a day, and ask them the same way a customer asks you. Subbie work in both directions.

02 — How work comes in
One job, one tradie, one answer.
A customer opens the map, sees you are free, and sends the job to you and nobody else. You get a set time to answer. Take it or leave it — if you leave it, it goes back and they ask somebody else.
The clock is yours alone
Nobody else has been asked while it is running. No racing four other blokes to call first, and nothing to buy to be in the race.
Passing costs you nothing
Pass it or let the timer run out. The customer is told and picks somebody else, and nothing happens to your rating either way.

Long enough to answer between jobs. Five minutes was considered and thrown out — it would expire work you were always going to take, which reads to a tradie as the app losing them jobs.
03 — What you charge
They see your rate before they ring.
Your call-out fee and your hourly range sit on your card, the moment somebody taps your pin. Everyone else hides it until the customer is already on the phone, which is how you end up doing twenty minutes of free quoting for someone who was never going to pay it.
Put your number up. The people who ask you have already accepted it.
We don't take a cut. The app never takes a payment and never asks anybody for a card. What the job costs and how it gets paid is between you and the customer, exactly as it is now.
Leaving it blank is a real answer too. Plenty of trades price on inspection, so a profile with no rates on it shows nothing at all rather than a "rates not set" label that reads as a warning about you.

An illustration. The rates are yours to set and to change, and the two halves are independent — a flat call-out with no hourly rate, or an hourly rate with no call-out, are both normal ways to work.
04 — Your map, your terms
You choose when you're on it.
Customers only ever see a rough area, never your exact spot. One tap takes you off the map entirely, and you can set it to hide you automatically from knock-off time and put you back in the morning.
Your home address is nobody's business, including ours. Try the control — it is the real one, with the real numbers behind it.

Your pin sits somewhere inside a 500-metre cell, snapped to a fixed grid rather than jittered — repeated looks never resolve it any further. Close enough for somebody to know you work their street, nowhere near close enough to find your van.
05 — Trust, both ways
Checkable, and nobody approves you.
Licences
Your number, beside the register that proves it.
Add your licence and your profile shows the number beside a link to the register that can confirm it. A customer checks it with the regulator in about ten seconds — a stronger thing to have than a tick we drew ourselves.
Energy Safe Victoria, the Building and Plumbing Commission and ARCtick are wired up today. Outside Victoria your licence still goes on your profile with its number — it just will not carry a check link until we have added your state's register.
Nothing waits on us. There is no queue and no approval step — you are on the map when you say you are, and the licence is a thing you add because it wins you work, not because a gate demands it.
One thing worth knowing before it surprises you: an expired licence is shown and flagged, not hidden. Hiding one would make a lapsed ticket read as no ticket at all. Same for insurance — a lapsed policy says "lapsed", with the date. Two taps to fix, and the app tells you sixty days out.
Ratings
You rate them back.
Customers rate you, you rate the customer, and only on a job that actually finished. The number of jobs a score is built on is printed right next to it, so nobody hides behind one glowing review — yours or theirs.

Those two are never averaged together. One is what households thought of the work; the other is what a tradie thought of the job they were sent to — including the ones who wasted a trip.
A customer's record travels with them, and it is on every offer card you get: jobs completed, jobs called off after a tradie had already accepted, and how many other tradies of your trade they have this out to right now. Shop around and tradies see it.
06 — What it costs
Nothing, while we build the map.
Listings are free. We are not charging tradies to be on a map that is still filling up, and we will tell you well before that changes.
There is no lead fee, no credit pack, no commission and no card — not now and not behind a setting somewhere. The app has never taken a payment from anybody.
07 — Where you can work
Every trade. Anywhere in Australia.
We started in Melbourne with electricians. It is open now to every trade in the country — if you work it, you can be on the map today, and you do not need us to have reached your suburb first.
Whatever you do
Nineteen trades on the list, from sparkies and plumbers through to solar, flooring and cleaners. If yours is not there yet, put it on the form and it goes on.
Wherever you work
You set where you are and how far you will go. The map is built from wherever tradies actually turn up, not from a list of suburbs somebody decided on.
An empty map says so
Open everywhere does not mean busy everywhere. Where nobody covers a street yet the app says so in plain words, to you and to the customer, rather than letting either of you guess.
08 — Straight answers
What tradies ask us.
Does it cost anything to join?
No. Listings are free while we're building the map, and there's nothing to buy in order to receive work. If that ever changes we'll tell you well before it does.
Do I pay per lead?
No. There are no lead fees and no credits. A customer picks you and asks you, and while you're deciding nobody else has been asked.
Do you take a cut of the job?
No. The app never takes a payment and never asks anybody for a card. What the job costs and how it gets paid is between you and the customer, exactly as it is now.
Can customers see where I live?
No. They see a circle about 500 metres across, snapped to a fixed grid before it ever leaves the server — never a point, and never your address. You can drop to a 5 km circle that only shows up in a count, or go off the map entirely. Off means your phone stops sending, not that our server stops showing.
Do I have to be available all the time?
No. You say whether you're free now, later today or tomorrow, and you can go off the map whenever you like. You can also set it to take you off automatically at knock-off and put you back in the morning.
What if I don't want the job?
Pass it, or let the timer run out. The customer is told and picks someone else. Nothing happens to your rating either way — a rating only ever comes from a job that actually finished.

Yes, and that's the point. Trades hire trades. Signed in as a tradie you get the whole customer side pointed at other trades: see who's free, what they charge for a day, and ask them the same way a customer asks you.
What do I need to sign up?
A trade and a business name. Your licence number, your insurance and what you charge are all optional — and all worth adding, because a licence on your profile prints its number beside a link to the register that can confirm it. Nobody approves you and nothing is held in a queue.
