01 — How work comes in
One job, one carpenter, one answer.
A customer sees you are free and sends the job to you and nobody else. You get a set time to answer. Take it or leave it; if you leave it, it goes back to somebody else.
Nobody else is asked
While it is yours, it is only yours. No race to be the first chippie to call.
Passing is free
Booked out? Pass it and it goes back to somebody else. Your rating only ever comes from jobs you actually finished.

02 — Trade to trade
The other trades are on here too.
Signed in as a tradie, you get the whole customer side pointed at other trades: see who is free, what they charge for a day, and ask them the same way a customer asks you. Work in both directions.
Who asks you
The builder whose usual carpenter is on another site this week. The handyman with a job that turned out bigger than a handyman. The tiler who needs a floor fixed before it can be tiled.
Who you ask
A sparky before the wall gets closed up. A plumber for the laundry you are fitting out. A plasterer and then a painter when the framing is done.
03 — Checkable, not vouched for
Your number, beside the register that proves it.
If you hold a Building and Plumbing Commission registration, it prints its number beside a link to the BPC register. A builder deciding whether to put you on their job checks it in about ten seconds.

Hold something that is not on our list? Type its name and number and it goes on as entered. Outside Victoria your registration shows with its number, without a check link until we have added your state’s register.
04 — What you charge
They see your rate before they ring.
Your call-out, your hourly range and your day rate sit on your card the moment somebody taps your pin. All three are optional and independent, and a blank one shows nothing rather than a warning.
We don’t take a cut. The app never takes a payment and never asks anybody for a card. What the job costs is between you and whoever asked.
05 — Your map, your terms
You choose when you’re on it.
Customers see a rough area about 500 metres across, snapped to a fixed grid. Never your exact spot, never your address.
One tap takes you off the map entirely, and you can set it to hide you at knock-off and put you back in the morning. Off means your phone stops sending, not that we hide you at our end.
06 — Straight answers
What carpenters ask us.
Does my builder registration show?
Yes. Domestic Builder and Domestic Builder (Limited) — Carpentry both carry a link to the Building and Plumbing Commission register beside the number. Expired registrations are shown and flagged rather than hidden, and the app tells you sixty days out.
Can builders find me for a day’s work?
Yes. Signed in as a tradie, a builder sees which carpenters are free now, today or tomorrow, with your day rate if you have set one, and asks you the same way a customer does.
Do I have to take every job?
No. Pass it, or let the timer run out, and it goes back to somebody else. Nothing happens to your rating. A rating only ever comes from a job that actually finished.
Does it cost anything to join?
No. Listings are free while we’re building the map, and there’s nothing to buy in order to receive work. If that ever changes we’ll tell you well before it does.
Can customers see where I live?
No. They see a circle about 500 metres across, snapped to a fixed grid before it ever leaves the server: never a point, and never your address. You can drop to a 5 km circle that only shows up in a count, or go off the map entirely.
