01 — How work comes in
One job, one builder, one answer.
A customer sees you are free and sends the job to you and nobody else. You get a set time to answer. Take it or leave it; if you leave it, it goes back to somebody else.
The rate is on the card
Call-out, hourly range and day rate, where the trade has set them, before you ask. No twenty minutes on the phone to learn a number.

The trade you ask has the job alone until they answer. If they pass, it goes back to somebody else.

02 — Trade to trade

Signed in as a tradie, you get the whole customer side pointed at other trades: see who is free, what they charge for a day, and ask them the same way a customer asks you. Work in both directions.
Who you ask
Nineteen trades on the list, from sparkies, plumbers and chippies to scaffolders, concreters and cleaners. Use it for the gap your own contacts leave: the short-notice day, the out-of-area job, the 3pm call for somebody tomorrow.

Customers near you with work that needs a builder, the same way they ask any other trade: one request, to you, with a clock on it and nobody else asked while it runs.
03 — Checkable, not vouched for
Your number, beside the register that proves it.
Every trade’s licence shows with its number. Sparkies, plumbers and carpenters with Victorian licences carry a link to Energy Safe Victoria or the Building and Plumbing Commission register, so you check them with the regulator, not with us.

We do not vouch for anybody. The link goes to the regulator, who can. Your own Domestic Builder registration gets the same treatment: its number, beside a link to the BPC register.
04 — What you charge
They see your rate before they ring.
Your call-out, your hourly range and your day rate sit on your card the moment somebody taps your pin. All three are optional and independent, and a blank one shows nothing rather than a warning.
We don’t take a cut. The app never takes a payment and never asks anybody for a card. What the job costs is between you and whoever asked.
05 — Your map, your terms
You choose when you’re on it.
Customers see a rough area about 500 metres across, snapped to a fixed grid. Never your exact spot, never your address.
One tap takes you off the map entirely, and you can set it to hide you at knock-off and put you back in the morning. Off means your phone stops sending, not that we hide you at our end.
06 — Straight answers
What builders ask us.
Can I use it to find subbies?
Yes. Signed in as a tradie you get the whole customer side pointed at other trades: see who is free near the site, what they charge for a day, and ask them directly. It works best for the jobs your own contacts cannot cover: short notice, out of area, or the day your usual bloke does not pick up.
How do I know a subbie is licensed?
Their licence number is on their profile. For Victorian electrical, plumbing and carpentry licences it sits beside a link to Energy Safe Victoria or the Building and Plumbing Commission register, so you check it with the regulator in about ten seconds. We do not approve or vouch for anybody, and we would rather point you at the register than draw a tick of our own.
Does it cost anything?
No. There is no subscription, no lead fee and no commission, and the app never takes a payment. What the work costs is between you and the trade, exactly as it is now.
Does it cost anything to join?
No. Listings are free while we’re building the map, and there’s nothing to buy in order to receive work. If that ever changes we’ll tell you well before it does.
Can customers see where I live?
No. They see a circle about 500 metres across, snapped to a fixed grid before it ever leaves the server: never a point, and never your address. You can drop to a 5 km circle that only shows up in a count, or go off the map entirely.
